Travis Gorrell

Travis Gorrell has been a practitioner of martial arts since the age of five. He has earned a 3rd Dan (Black Belt) in Moo Duk Kwan Tang Soo Do and Hapkido under the late Grand Master Jae Joon Kim, who was the Chief Master Instructor of Korean, U.S. and Vietnamese Special Forces in Vietnam and a teacher of Chuck Norris. At the age of 15, Travis traveled the States and abroad to compete. Even as a teenager, Travis was eventually forced out of his age bracket, and he was placed in the lightweight men’s division. After years of focus in traditional martial arts, Travis was honorably awarded a black belt in Tae Kwon Do by two martial arts schools. In 2009, Travis joined Tampa Muay Thai where he trained under Khru Ray Cole and David “Dato” Gogichaishvili.
